We produce stone-milled flour, wine and a wide array of produce. We also have large hardwood forests and a knack for fabricating things. What food combines all of our production and talents? Wood-fired pizza, of course! We built our pizza oven from scratch in our on-site shop, and we build your pizzas with the same care and attention.
FRIDAY NIGHT PIZZA
Come watch the flames dance and tasty pizzas cook before your eyes. What a perfect way to kick off the weekend!
We serve our wood-fired pizza at Friday Pickup from 5:30-7:30 PM. Each week we offer a choice of 3 or 4 different types of pizza that reflect the current season, including many ingredients available for purchase in our farm stand. Our offerings change from week to week as we adapt to what is currently ripe on the farm. Pizzas are prepared and cooked fresh to order.
Choices will include both vegetarian and meat options.
We sell 16" pizzas for $20 and slices for $4.
We sell our award-winning Rocky Knoll red wines by the glass or bottle and occasionally local white wine and beer. Please do not bring outside beverages.
PIZZA: A LONG TIME COMING
Learning to farm teaches one how many different steps go into producing one simple ingredient, let alone the myriads of ingredients we combine into our average meal. Pizza is a great representation of this reality and gives us the opportunity to showcase the most unique thing we do at Dunbar—stone-milled flour—with our wide array of seasonal produce and our bold red wines. Our firewood also comes from the farm’s scattered oak forests, making our pizza a Dunbar product through and through!
