Our Wine & Bread

Although only a few pears remain, the Carpenter family has diversified the farm considerably and now produces a wide array of organically-grown crops. The farm's recent developments are focused on feeding the local community, year-round, with a balanced diet. The farm produces grass hay, wine, eggs, grain, flour, sourdough breads, dry beans, produce, etc, etc. The overarching goal is to be a "complete farm" not only in the sense of producing all of the major food groups, but also in diversifying the farm landscape to the point that it becomes healthy, more productive and balanced in its uses.

The wine is marketed as Rocky Knoll and the food as Dunbar Farms. Our products are offered via an online ordering system with plans in 2012 to have an honor barn farmstand, year-round farm share program, tasting room and much more.
